Experienced Ocean Shipping Co-ordinator

We are a UK based freight forwarder. We are looking for a worker with good English ability, that can work remotely and effectively to support our busy exports from the UK. Our business is moving full containerloads to the Far East of cargo for recycling, we move up to 250 x Shipping Containers per week. We are looking for a candidate that can work 9AM - 6PM UK time, Monday to Friday. The responsibilities will be to gather VGM (Verified Gross Mass) details and enter into the correct system, check on port systems to make sure cargoes are cleared for export. Additionally, experience in handling documentation (Bills of lading) and working with shipping line online booking systems will be a huge advantage. Experience with working with Cargowise is a huge advantage. Customer contact will be necessary, so the applicant should be assertive and able to speak directly to UK based clients and communicate over email.

Experience with Cargowise a huge advantage.
