Responsibilities:

A majority of the work assigned will be client requests to make updates to existing WordPress websites. These requests typically range from "make an update to this page with text and images" or "I want to add new pages, here is the content on I want added". Most websites are built using the Avada Theme, so proficiency with the Avada Theme is a must.

As our WordPress Developer, your tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Handling client requests to update existing WordPress websites
• Adding new pages and updating existing ones with provided content
• Building new websites as our client base grows
• Learning our preferred method of design & development
• Third-party client fulfilment (using tools and services outside of WordPress)

Requirements:

• Proficiency with WordPress and the Avada Theme
• Experience with PHP and JavaScript is a plus, but not required
• Ability to handle a variety of tasks and requests
• Excellent communication skills

IMPORTANT - Your application will prioritized if your working hours can be after 9pm (GMT+8) (that is 9am where we are at) and are able to work alongside me. Please let me know if this is possible for you.

Work Hours & Compensation:

As mentioned, this is a part-time position but if you excel in this role and establish a strong working relationship, there is potential for this position to transition into a full-time opportunity as we grow, together! (hopefully quickly). The starting salary is $500 per month, increasing to $600 per month after the first month (with continued room for growth).
