Job Description:

Semper Celer Transportation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freight Dispatcher to join our dynamic logistics team. As a Freight Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the movement of goods and ensuring timely deliveries to our valued customers. Your ability to communicate effectively, multitask, and problem-solve will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:

Receive and process transportation orders from customers and internal teams.
Coordinate with carriers and drivers to schedule pick-up and delivery times.
Monitor the progress of shipments and proactively address any delays or ---------- municate with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and support during transit.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipments and deliveries.
Handle any emergent situations or disruptions in transportation with efficiency.
Negotiate rates with Drivers to optimize transportation costs.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
Utilize transportation management software to track and manage shipments.
Qualifications:

Specifically looking for someone with experiences with cargo and sprinter vans and using sylectus.

Will also on board new drivers that apply.

High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
Proven experience as a Freight Dispatcher or in a similar logistics coordination role.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with transportation regulations and industry practices.
Proficiency in using transportation management software or systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
