We are looking for a full-time Accounts Payables Clerk. This person will join a team of 5 in our Accounts/Finance team.
This position is open to candidates based in the Philippines only with previous experience working for international companies, and it is expected the successful candidate works AEST hours, in a full-time capacity.
Day to day: This person will be responsible for ensuring all payables receipts, transactions and invoices are accurate and allocated to the correct departments; This may include following up with staff and liaising with vendors & suppliers
Responsibilities:
Check, cross check, verify and approve invoices & expenses.
This will include:
o Credit Card management- (Airwallex, AMEX & VISA) Approx 100 per week
o Batch Payments (approx 50 per week)
Identify any irregularities and follow up with the appropriate staff members and/or service providers
Manage payables inbox
Following up on staff and supplier invoices
Handing over checked and verified invoices and expenses to our 3rd party bookkeeper
Build documents and implement processes
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills & the ability to liaise with external supplies & parties Experience in a fast-paced working environment
High level understanding of MS Office, and Google Suite
You must have previous experience working for an International Country- Ideally AUS/ UK/ USA/CANADA
Excellent problem solving skills & attention to detail
2 -3 years in a similar position.
Preferred but not essential:
· Experience with XERO
· Ideally similar experience in FMCG, Retail or Logistics
