Telemarketer / Cold Calling Specialist

Policywise is an insurance brokerage business based in New Zealand. We have an entirely remote workforce and have a fun, supportive culture working with clients all over the country and place a high standard on the services and products we offer. We aren’t your average brokerage, and with our excellent technology and ability to adapt when required, we do most of our work online. The business is growing, so we need you to help us with telemarketing.

As a telemarketer/cold calling specialist, we expect you to be responsible for talking to potential customers on the phone and setting appointments for insurance consultations. You should be able to track the customer contact list, explain the products and present them as needed.

Responsibilities

Cold call people using a list of contacts in our CRM with the goal of booking appointments for insurance consultations with our team of advisors.
Answer incoming calls from prospective customers - customer callbacks from dialled prospects
Use scripts to provide product info, cost, etc., and present their benefits
Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements
Persuade with good ethical sales tactics convincing the customer to book an appointment.
Record the customer’s personal information accurately in our CRM
Deal with any objections or doubts to put the prospect at ease for booking a consultation and also safeguard the company’s reputation.
Go the “extra mile” to meet KPIs
Keep records of relevant information

Requirements and skills
Proven experience as a telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas over the phone
Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and phone systems
Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
Proficient in English
Highly skilled in negotiation and objection handling
Persistent and results-oriented
Patient and able to handle customer doubts/rejection
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any field

Work Set-up:
Remote work
New Zealand business hours (10 am - 7 pm), 1-hour unpaid lunch break
Full-time
You should have a work-from-home setup (computer, desk, internet of at least 10 Mbps connection)

Compensation/Benefits
Salary: 18,000 Php/month
Salary increase in 6 months depending on performance
