POSITION OVERVIEW
Origin 63 seeks a Senior Sales Development Representative who is a skilled SDR looking to get to the next level in their sales career. We sell a combination of HubSpot software and services. This individual will be eager to learn a new business, build consulting skills around HubSpot, and support the CEO in attracting and booking new prospects.
This position is hourly + activity based compensation position, up to 40 hours per week. Our goal is to grow the Sr SDR into an Account Executive role within 6-12 months.
Please note that we require your working hours to overlap between 8am - 2pm Pacific daily for client meeting time.
Role Description:
The Senior Sales Development Representative will primarily be responsible for activity objectives around prospect engagement, meetings booked and meetings kept. This position will be largely responsible for contacting prospects and past clients/prospects through different channels including but not limited to
As the first line of communication with prospects, our ideal candidate must understand how to sell an innovative solution, excel at researching leads, enjoy starting new relationships, and set our sales closers up for success.
As a core tea
Support sales and marketing teams on outbound and inbound lead-generating efforts. Tracking your efforts while keeping HubSpot organized and up to date with detailed notes
Monthly activity quota will be set around the following, but may not be limited to:
- # of contacts enrolled in
- # of calls made
- # of booked meetings
- # of meetings completed
Responsibilities include:
- Generating and qualifying leads via
- Scheduling and attending sales meetings
- Reaching out to current or past prospects/leads
- Determining and scheduling next steps for the prospect
- Creating and managing sales campaigns, with team guidance and support
- Managing/tracking progress through the sales pipeline
- Making sales follow ups consistently in a timely manner
- Providing regular reports on sales activities
- Continuing education around HubSpot to provide consultation in the sales process over time
As this individual gains comfortability with our products, process and client fit, they will also support in leading discovery calls, qualifying prospects and bringing in appropriate resources to support with scoping. For the right SDR, this will lead to an Account Executive role with a base +
The Senior Sales Development Representative must have strong interpersonal and team work skills and be able to effectively communicate well with clients, organization staff, executives and various other stakeholders.
- Must be extremely organized and be able to manage several conversations simultaneously
- Must be naturally motivated to learn and improve in their career
- Must be able to consistently follow up with clients
- Ability to clearly communicate information, actively listen, and customize effective outreach to prospects
- Have a polite, friendly, and diplomatic manner
- Ability to set and meet deadlines
- Ability to meet quota and measure sales activities
- Be persuasive without being forceful
- Be agile and open to change as the company grows or a client changes direction
Requirements for the Role:
- 2-3 years of experience in sales or customer service
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to change
- A desire to learn and grow in the sales field
