About the Role:

We're seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented freelance editor to refine and polish our eBooks on artificial intelligence. This temporary, ongoing position offers flexibility and the chance to work on comprehensive and fascinating content. Please put favorite color in subject line. The selected candidate will edit and proofread our manuscripts to ensure they read seamlessly and professionally, without the assistance of Grammarly or ProWritingAid.

Responsibilities:

Edit and proofread eBooks on artificial intelligence, with an average length of 40,000 words.
Enhance the readability and flow of the content while maintaining its technical accuracy.
Correct grammatical errors, punctuation, spelling, and syntax.
Ensure the content reads naturally and professionally, and does not appear as if written by an AI tool.
Provide constructive feedback on the content's structure, coherence, and clarity.
Collaborate with the author(s) and respond to revisions and requests promptly.
Requirements:

Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with impeccable grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Proven experience as a professional editor, preferably in technical or scientific fields.
Familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts and terminology.
Ability to edit and refine content without the use of Grammarly or ProWritingAid.
Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify areas of improvement in the text.
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
A meticulous approach to work, with great attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Computer Science, or related field.
