Job Title: Virtual Accountant - Specializing in Construction Industry Accounting

About the Role:

We are currently searching for a knowledgeable, detail-oriented Virtual Accountant based in the Philippines to join our ---------- this role, you'll be tasked with maintaining accurate financial records for our company, ensuring that our transactions and financial reports adhere to US GAAP standards. Prior experience in the construction industry and expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update financial records and transactions in QuickBooks Online
• Preparation of WIP (Work In Progress) reports and manage job costing processes
• Ensure all financial records and reports comply with US GAAP standards
• Reconcile bank statements
• Coordinate with our US team to ensure seamless accounting operations
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Participate in budgeting and financial forecast processes
• Ensure utmost confidentiality of all financial data
• Contribute in financial audits, offering recommendations for procedural improvements

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is advantageous but not required
• Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including US GAAP
• At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction industry
• Prior experience working with US-based businesses is highly desirable
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• High attention to detail and a strong problem-solving ability
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Flexibility to adjust to the demands of remote work and coordinate with US business hours once to twice per
week
