Key Responsibility:
This position will be responsible for proactively sourcing, identifying, collecting, screening, and research data to use in finding project opportunities for our clients and our own company. The ideal candidate will not only be organized and process oriented but also find creative sourcing strategies to match projects that help drive the growth and success of our clients. You will also develop strategies to better identify potential projects and opportunities for clients. The pursuit coordinator is responsible for tracking all pursuit opportunities for clients on a daily basis. This includes identifying opportunities and managing the day to day needs including

WHAT YOU WILL DO: (Responsibilities)
* Understand the services of the clients
* Search project opportunities for clients across the United States
* Proactively implement changes to streamline and improve current processes
* Develop and execute enhanced sourcing strategies and utilize sourcing tools (Google Alerts, LinkedIn, search engines, etc)
* Tracking, monitoring and maintaining reports, opportunities
* Profiling key persons, companies and organizations
* Timely submittal of responses to potential primes/clients
* Maintaining files, resources including updating projects, trackers

* Proven experience in sourcing and acquiring leads and opportunities in different platforms - through vendor portals, searches, agendas and minutes and events
* Self-sufficient and independent; resourceful
* Multi-skilled and may be open for other VA tasks:

Position Overview:

As a Pursuit Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our business development efforts by managing and coordinating the pursuit process for new projects and clients. Responsibilities:
1. Pursuit Coordination: Collaborate with the business development team to manage the pursuit process from initiation to completion, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of all pursuit activities.
2. Proposal Development: Work closely with the pursuit team to develop and deliver high-quality proposals, presentations, and other pursuit materials tailored to the needs of each client or project.
3. Project Management: Coordinate all aspects of pursuit projects, including scheduling meetings, setting deadlines, and tracking progress. Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

8. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews and quality checks on pursuit materials to ensure compliance with firm's standards, accuracy of information, and alignment with client requirements.
9. Relationship Management: Assist in building and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication and timely follow-ups, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the pursuit process.
10. Knowledge Management: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in pursuit management. Share knowledge and insights with the team to enhance overall pursuit effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a consulting or professional services firm.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with proposal management software or CRM systems is preferred.

The pursuit coordinator is responsible for:

Development of professional quality resumes and project descriptions and other presentations.
Development and management of reports and dashboards in real time that provide needed data for informed long term decisions of the c level execs.
