Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our team. As a Web Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our company and clients’ websites. We are looking for someone who is not only proficient in using WordPress but also has a proven ability to code websites from scratch using various front-end technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Code and develop our company's website from scratch using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and an exceptional user experience.
• Collaborate closely with our design team to implement website designs and layouts using design platforms such as Figma, and bring creative ideas to life with your coding expertise.
• Customize and maintain the website on WordPress, leveraging its capabilities while also utilizing your coding skills to implement unique functionalities and designs.
• Optimize website performance and speed to deliver fast-loading and seamless web pages.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the website to identify and address any issues or bugs, ensuring a smooth user experience across all devices.
• Implement SEO best practices and ensure the website is search engine friendly to improve its online visibility.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices, and integrate them into our website development process to continuously improve its functionality and design.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into website features and functionalities.
• Experience in website migration, including the ability to seamlessly transfer websites from one hosting provider to another.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A degree in Web Development, certification or a completed course in Web Development, Front-End Development, or a related field.
• Proven ability to code and develop websites from scratch using front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in WordPress with a strong understanding of its customization and plugin integration capabilities.
• Experience with design platforms such as Figma to translate design mockups into functional web pages.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Familiarity with website optimization techniques to enhance page load times and overall performance.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to implement them in the website development process.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for design aesthetics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with e-commerce platforms and integration, especially WooCommerce.
• Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to analyze website traffic and user behavior.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
