Pattern Maker & Technical Fashion Designer

YOU ARE
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in a technical and pattern making role in fashion
- Thorough
- Accurate
- Detail oriented
- Organized
- Ok with occasional team meetings on video conference call
- Most important of all are your communication and listening skills
SKILLS
- Digital pattern making
- Advanced grading skills
- Expert at creating tech packs
- Brilliant at writing a thorough measurement spec
- Excellent understanding of garment construction and sewing
- Knowledge of QC and good workmanship in sewn garments
- Confident working in spreadsheets
- Comfortable working in inches, and in CM
- Ability to closely follow complex instructions
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Writing POM descriptions and measurement specs
- Measuring garments
- Creating and checking tech packs
- Digital pattern making
- Grading
- Matching colors and lab dips to PANTONE numbers
- Writing construction and sewing instructions
- Evaluating sewn samples against the tech pack and writing sample and fit comments
THE POSITION
- Permanent position at 30-40 hrs/week (based on your preference), Monday-Friday.
- Flexible hours, work whenever you want
- Salary $600-1000 USD p/m depending on experience
- 13th month bonus (up to 1 months pay)
- 20 paid vacation days, plus Philippine holidays. Plus sick leave days if needed.
- Starting with a paid 8-week trial so we can both see if we work well together.
