VA Junior Copywriter

We are a e-commerce company based in Canada. We are seeking a full-time copywriter to join our team. You will be working closely with the web development team in Canada to help build content for our websites, write product descriptions, create blogs and provide copy material for our email campaigns and social media.

• University / College graduate
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Familiarity with SEO tools and techniques
• Ability to write effective content for email campaigns, Google ads, and other marketing copy
• Ability to write enticing product descriptions
• Able to adopt a writing style that is consistent with the brand voice and write in different tones as needed
• Excellent attention to detail
• Able to write handle a repetitive workload
• Team player, able to work collaboratively with designers and other creative professionals
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word, and OneDrive
• Knowledge of e-commerce websites like Shopify/ Magento is a plus
• Experience with blogging and creative writing is a plus
• Self-motivated, able to work with little supervision
• Receptive to constructive criticism
• Has an eye for details (able to detect misspelled words)

Basic Requirements:
• You will need your own PC/Laptop
• A stable internet connection

Job Type: Full-time
• 8 hour shift 9am-5pm EST (Nigth Shift)
• Monday to Friday EST
