An ambitious startup in the graphic design space is on the hunt for a talented, versatile, Graphic Designer to join our growing team!
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking to hire another experienced graphic designer with alot of talent to take ownership of the design needs of our growing client base, you'll work in conjunction with our other full time designers to manage our workload. The successful applicant will need to have an 'agency style' of thinking with the ability to quickly but effectively create compelling designs that make our clients look amazing.
SPECIFICALLY WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
- Shows confidence in executing design briefs
- Works quickly and efficiently on design tasks
- Is online and available 8am to 5pm Monday - Friday (yes you'll need to be online and available for this entire period)
***Can start part time for minimum 20hrs per week moving to full time 40hrs per week
- Possess a strong understanding of design, advertising and brand management
- The ability to manage and deliver multiple projects at the same time and within tight deadlines
- The ability to take a brief from concept through to finished art
- Experience working in an advertising or creative agency environment
- Has significant experience across Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and PhotoShop)
- Obsessive attention to detail
- Passionate about design

Our business is doing some amazing things in the design space, and we are experiencing growth. As such we are looking to find the right people who are as passionate about design as we are, we honestly don't see this position as a job but a way of life. We are looking for that special someone who want to help craft a business that they're really proud to be apart of.
This role will have you working on a large range of diverse projects, no two days will be the same. The vast majority of our work is print related, you'll be expected to be a ninja at layout and design with Adobe InDesign (I can't stress this enough)! From logo and branding work across business collateral, to instore POS campaigns, building signage, down to simple artwork resets, you will really get to develop and stretch your design skills across a broad range of clients.
PLEASE NOTE:
It is extremely important that your portfolio is top notch and showcases your strongest graphic design work. Please don't send us a link to your really old work with 50 t-shirt designs. Please also ensure you have a fantastic working knowledge of InDesign, as you'll be expected to run with working .indd files from day 1.
