Remote Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist

OVERVIEW:

Finally Free Productions is on the hunt for a diligent and meticulous Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the quality, efficiency, and reliability of our software projects.

As a Web2, mobile application, and software development company, Finally Free Productions primarily focuses on building mobile apps for startups. RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Collaborate daily with software developers, designers, and project leads to assure the quality of products and manage deadlines.
- Actively engage in the testing processes including planning, scheduling, and executing test cycles, and documenting and reporting on test results.
- Assist the consultant team in providing technical assessments for project scopes and performing QA estimates.
- Initiate onboarding for closed deals: project task sheet preparation, content management, walkthroughs with the dev team, and role assignment.
- Attend weekly meetings with the leadership team.
- Drive the project forward to reach its goal with a keen focus on quality.
- Test product prototypes internally, ensuring all tests meet specified requirements.
- Deliver updates on progress and potential obstacles, managing and resolving issues as they arise.
- Identify potential risks, create contingency plans, and report the same to the management.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget, meeting the quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Strong working knowledge of digital tools like Google Docs, Google Sheets, Monday (similar to Asana/Trello), and Slack
- Excellent internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Proven experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

SALARY:

- Starting salary of 10,000 PHP.
