Number Transfer Analyst

· Prepare Local Service Request (LSR) utilizing carrier applications and carrier interfaces.
· Submit, track and document LSR orders to Local Exchange Carriers, using various internal and external
systems.
· Monitor submitted LSR orders to ensure Firm Order Confirmation (FOC) is received within regulated
timeframes and resolve order rejects within a timely manner and escalate as needed.
· Responsible for creating and activating telephone number subscriptions in SOA / NPAC.
· Coordinate requests for Hot Cuts with various departments within the Company.
· Proactively manage internal system milestones, carrier issues and order supplements to ensure order
completion within established time-sensitive intervals.
· Utilize trouble-shooting techniques to escalate and resolve order jeopardies of a simple and complex
nature with ILECs/CLECs.
· Identify solutions to challenges that will make LEC Services more effective and efficient with openness
to creativity, innovation, and ---------- sired Qualifications:
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel.
· Knowledge of common Local Number Portability systems will be helpful.
· Solid time management, organizational skills, multi-tasking skills and analytical skills.
· Mature judgment and the ability to work independently and efficiently.
· Flexible, Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Atleast College Level
· At least 2-3 years of working experience in Technical Support is required for this position
· Preferable with experience in chat, handling multiple windows
· Excellent English communication skills
· Basic Knowledge on VOIP, networking, routers and modems
· Strong customer service orientation
· Experience configuring, updating and supporting VOIP solutions in a multi-location environment is
a plus
· Ability to work efficiently in a highly demanding, team-oriented and fast paced environment
· Networking, IT or telecommunications certification is a plus
