Job Description:

We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Project Qualifier and Takeoff Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and qualifying potential projects for bidding, based on their alignment with our company's expertise and strategic objectives. If a project qualifies, they will also be responsible for conducting the initial takeoff to facilitate estimation.

Responsibilities:

1. Thoroughly review potential projects to determine if they align with our company's capabilities and strategic goals.
2. Conduct initial project takeoff, providing essential information for the estimating process.
3. Maintain a detailed and organized record of qualified projects and their respective takeoff data.
4. Regularly communicate with the estimating team, providing all necessary information for bid preparation.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in telecommunications, surveillance, security, and fire alarm systems.
2. Proficient in reading and interpreting project plans and specifications.
3. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
4. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

We are looking for a team player with a proactive approach to contribute to our mission.

Starting rate will be $4-5/hour depending on previous experience. Plus 2% commission per qualified project awarded.
