The sales department is the point of contact between S & L Fine Foods, Inc. and the company’s prospective clients. They handle the presentation and selling of goods and/or services to organizations, businesses, or prospective customers in general. Given the nature and environment of S & L Fine Foods, Inc., sales personnel are expected to:
? Have at least a college-level degree in Business Administration, Marketing, and other Sales-related degrees.
? Have 1-2 years of experience.
? Present, promote, and communicate the benefits of purchasing cheese, charcuterie, wine, pantry essentials, and other products from S & L specifically.
? Negotiate contracts with clients intelligently yet respectfully, and subsequently, maintain a positive business relationship with clients as representatives of the company.
? Maximize customer satisfaction by resolving customer complaints etc..
? Achieve target sales within the agreed upon schedule.
? Report customer needs, complaints, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
? Have excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
? Have good prioritization, time management and organizational skills.
? Create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
