Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

We are a commercial tiling company in Australia who works on many large projects such as Apartments, Units, Hotels, Commercial Buildings etc.
Based in Australia, we are looking for an experienced tiling estimator who has experiences in relevant industry and projects with the ability to interpret plans, finishes schedules, scope of works and bill of quantities without assistance.
This is a home based work and a successful candidate needs to have fast internet service.

* The responsibilities of this role include:
- Taking off/Measuring Plans using Autodesk Tools
- Quoting on projects
- Estimating and costing for commercials projects
- Liasing with suppliers and clients
- Scuring prices from suppliers
- Coordinating with site staff when tender has been awarded

* To be considered for this position you should have:
- Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal to communicate with Clients and suppliers
- An excellent understanding of the tiling and stone industry within commercial construction
- An eye for detail and accuracy
- The ability to read specifications to determine requirements
- The ability to produce an accurate bill of quantities
- The ability to work independently, without supervision
- Practical experience in Microsoft Excel, Cad & Word
- Strong mathematical and time management skills
- Minimum of 1 to 2 Years estimating experience
- Can work with minimum supervision
- Team Player
