Senior Supply Chain Manager - E-commerce

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in building relationships with Chinese suppliers, excellent negotiation skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, you'll be responsible for the strategic sourcing and procurement of products from Chinese suppliers, primarily utilizing platforms like Alibaba and Wechat. You'll conduct in-depth negotiations on product pricing, terms, delivery, and other key variables to ensure the best outcomes for our company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and implement strategic sourcing and supplier relationships with Alibaba and other Chinese suppliers.
- Conduct daily negotiations on pricing, terms, delivery, and other critical variables through Alibaba, Wechat, and Whatsapp.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, support, availability, reliability, and supplier reputation.
- Improve supplier management system.
- Continually research and identify potential new suppliers to meet business requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all supplier transactions, including contracts, pricing, and payment terms.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers for future transactions.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the smooth flow of goods and services.
- Develop custom molds & tooling for newly developed products together with our Chinese suppliers

REQUIREMENTS

- 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or a related role.
- Tech Savvy
- Strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Experience in managing a team is a big plus
- Fluency in English (Mandarin is a big plus).
- You have a Wechat account and used it before (verified).
- Proficient in using Alibaba, Wechat, and Whatsapp for business communication.
- Strong understanding of the Chinese business culture and market.
- Exceptional ability to assess supplier products for quality and performance.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
