We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team on a project-based basis. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and enhancing our outdoor adventure-style YouTube videos, with a typical run time of approximately 15-30 minutes per video. This position offers a flexible work schedule and competitive compensation, which can be negotiated on an hourly or per-job basis, subject to proposals from candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and enhance raw footage to create compelling and engaging outdoor adventure YouTube videos.
• Incorporate various video and audio assets, such as music, sound effects, and voiceovers, to enhance the storytelling and overall production value of the videos.
• Trim and arrange video clips to create a cohesive and engaging narrative.
• Apply color correction, filters, and visual effects to enhance the visual aesthetics and atmosphere of the videos.
• Ensure seamless transitions, smooth pacing, and continuity throughout the edited videos.
• Collaborate closely with the content creators and other tea ---------- mbers to understand their vision and goals for each video project.
• Provide creative input and suggestions to improve the overall quality and impact of the videos.
• Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality edited videos within the agreed-upon timeframe.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably with a portfolio showcasing outdoor adventure or similar content.
• Proficient in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of video editing techniques, including pacing, storytelling, and visual effects.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple video editing projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to project requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with the team.
• Passion for outdoor adventures, nature, and storytelling through video editing.
