EDC Content Manager

We are an Everyday Carry Product company specializing in minimalist products, headlined by our flagship product The Ridge Wallet. The Ridge Wallet started as a Kickstarter project in 2013 and is now in the hands and pockets of over 3 million people worldwide! We currently operate around the globe selling in the US, Canada, the UK, EU, and Australia on Shopify and through other channels such as Amazon and Wholesalers. We are a fully remote company and are very excited to expand into the Eastern European market to continue to grow our team! We currently have a US-based team of just over 50 people! We currently employ over 60+ international contractors around the world! While this may seem like a lot of people, each department only ranges from 2 - 10 people, which opens up a lot of opportunities for growth and advancement. **Role + Responsibility**

1. Manage and coordinate all content for articles, including copy, images, and embedded social content.
2. Collaborate with the Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, staff writers, graphic designer, and editorial assistants while operating independently to hit content goals.
3. Use the EDC CMS and other content production tools like Trello, Slack, and Notion proficiently to produce, format, and publish content for the site.
4. Conduct logistics planning and help fill out the editorial calendar.
5. Act as a secondary editor and fact-checker to ensure the quality and accuracy of the content.
6. Assist in sourcing images and coordinate follow-ups with writers. The ability to work with Photoshop or other tools for use in article production is a bonus.
7. Ensure all content is delivered within set deadlines.
8. Facilitate communication between SEO and staff writers to ensure streamlined content production.

**Job Requirements:**

1. Experience in content management or a related role.
2. Proficiency in using website CMS and other content production tools.
3. Moderate experience with writing and editing, with strong attention to detail.
4. Experience with grammar and research tools, such as Grammarly.
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and adhere to deadlines.
6. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
7. Knowledge of SEO practices would be an advantage.
8. Familiarity with image sourcing and graphic design.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Bonus:**

Experience in content management for an online retail or EDC-focused brand will be considered a major asset.

- At this time, we offer payment on a weekly basis via PayPal or [ ---------- ], but preferability [ ---------- ] for ease of payment.
- Starting 30 days after the working relationship has started, we offer Paid Vacation and Sick time depending on the number of days remaining in the calendar year. These pools of time will be reset at the beginning of each calendar year.
- We offer a “13th month” salary in December, which results in doubling the salary during the month of December.
- For this position, we are offering a weekly salary range of $250 USD depending on experience, with the expectation of a 40-hour work week. During training the first few week's hours may be lower, but the salary rate will remain the same. The total per month would then be $ 1,000 USD. For highly skilled applicants, this can be negotiated upon completion of the application!
