Responsible for all aspects of the prior authorization process over the phone and requests receivedResponsible for collecting all the necessary documentation, and obtaining a medical history.Verifying the healthcare insurance coverage and eligibility.Manage inbound and outbound calls to and from patients, and providers regarding inquiries, appointments, and data verification.Assisting in creating referrals and ordersPerform all tasks in compliance with HIPPA regulationsEstablishing a professional relationship with medical professionals and patients; Acts as a primary liaison between patients and providers.Explaining care plans, health promotion, admissions, new patient intake, and front desk triage.Outreach to the provider for additional information and completion of the required prior authorization in order to proceed with testing.Triage cases of medical records/clinical to the appropriate worklist.
