Triage and Telehealth Support Nurse

Work for an Australian company in day shift. We are looking for an efficient, confident, friendly registered nurse to coordinate our triage requests via email/phone and book telehealth appointments as necessary. Full training provided. Supportive environment and friendly team.

Primary Objectives:
Manage end to end the triage and telehealth process for the doctor
Includes clinical triage of requests
Liaising with facility staff to ascertain additional, required information
Arranging the telehealth appointment
Ensuring the staff member attends the telehealth
Scribing visit notes and completing pathology/radiology requests after visit
Ensuring visit notes are submitted to EMR (via copy/paste, integration or PDF as per facility requirements)
Provide support to the doctor and facility to ensure smooth and efficient case triage and subsequent telehealth consults
Provide education and advertisement during conversations with facility staff to promote the triage and telehealth service offered

Major activities of this role (what you’ll be responsible for):
Triaging all cases through website portal and email
Liaising with facility nurses to book and attend telehealth appointments
Organise telehealth rounds for doctors on leave
Follow up to ensure all information necessary for the doctor to successfully manage the triage case has been obtained prior to the telehealth consult
