Short Video Editor

We are seeking a dynamic and creative short-form video editor to elevate our social media presence. This position is ideal for someone skilled in the art of crafting engaging and impactful videos within the constraints of short-form platforms.

Responsibilities:

Edit and produce 30 compelling 60-second (or shorter) videos per month for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
Understand how to utilize editing, pacing, and sound design to structure strong short-form narratives
Ensure all content uses original footage, royalty-free elements, or content with appropriate licensing to avoid copyright issues.
Source footage for editing requirements
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm fresh content ideas and video concepts
Stay current on trends and best practices for short-form video editing
Follow detailed editing guide.
Qualifications:

Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
Understanding of attention-grabbing storytelling for short-form content
Strong grasp of sound design principles and their impact on engagement
Excellent English language skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and proactively to meet deadlines
Compensation:

420 CAD per month (base rate)
Performance-based bonuses for videos achieving exceptional reach and engagement
