Construction Bookkeeper / Accountant

About Us:
We are a startup CFO firm dedicated to providing top-tier financial management services to our clients. We specialize in serving clients in the construction industry and are currently seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to support our client's accounting needs. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in construction accounting, particularly with job costing and QuickBooks operations.

Responsibilities:
- Provide bookkeeping and accounting services to multiple clients in the construction sector.
- Implement and manage job costing and construction chart of accounts for clients using QuickBooks.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements and reports.
- Ensure that all financial practices comply with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Assist clients in understanding their financial reports and help them make informed financial decisions.

Required Experience:
- Proven track record in construction accounting and job costing.
- Experience with setting up and maintaining construction charts of accounts in QuickBooks.
- Demonstrated ability to set up job costing systems in QuickBooks.

Desired Experience:
- Familiarity with various job costing software.
- Knowify experience Is desired.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and precision in work.
