Currently, autism support via Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is difficult to access and the delivery model must be expanded to provide earlier access to families.

Forta is not only providing ABA services to our clients, but we’re also improving the future of the ABA experience for families by creating software and predictive algorithms that elevate clinicians to work smarter by surfacing the latest and most relevant case data. We are working diligently to continuously improve the patient journey and deliver personalized care by applying smart technology and investing in the growth of our world-class team.

LOCATION & COMMITMENTS:
Department: Diagnosis Team
Position Type: Full Time
Salary: $17k yearly
Location: International, Fully Remote
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9AM-5PM PST for first three weeks (training period)
Monday- Saturday, 2pm-8pm PST with flexibility

Job Description:

Forta’s Diagnosticians meet with clients over video calls to conduct virtual diagnostic assessments. They then evaluate the assessments and draft a report, which is submitted to our Psychologist for review and approval.

Under the direct supervision of the diagnosis team lead, as a Diagnostician at Forta, you will work closely with the diagnosis team to understand where clients are in the diagnosis process, follow up with parents, conduct evaluations, review and fill out assessments, draft and submit clinical report, and make sure that all client data is properly documented and managed within the internal systems via Upgrade to see actual info. This is a role for an empathetic and socially motivated candidate with experience in testing for Autism. The tasks will be split between client communications, client data management and remote evaluations.

Job Responsibilities:

- Conduct virtual evaluations
- Review parent-answered assessments
- Fill out assessments during virtual evaluation
- Effectively guide parents through the evaluation process
- Write clinical reports based on evaluation results following Forta report format
- Follow administrative processes to maximize productivity of the diagnosis team
- Follow processes to effectively communicate with other teams about report/referrals/insurance status
- Consistently reach out and assist parents with assessments and scheduling via email and phone calls

Qualifications:

Required:
- Bachelors degree with 5+ years of experience in early childhood development, psychology, special education, or a related field
- Knowledge and experience with Upgrade to see actual info, Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Adjust priorities in a fast paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have some administrative and customer service experience
- Must be a clear communicator with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers and clients
- Must be able to work on multiple projects, platforms and families at once
- Must be passionate about helping autistic children receive therapy
- Must maintain confidential information/HIPAA/PHI
- Understanding early childhood development

Preferred:
- Masters degree in early childhood development, psychology, special education, or a related field
- Background in healthcare, special education or psychology
- Experience with servicing multicultural and neurodiverse populations
- Experience with data collection, management and organization
- Experience with evaluating neurological or developmental delays and experience working with children with autism

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of ABA Therapy
- Basic knowledge of autism assessments and score interpretation
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a remote capacity
- Ability to work in US time zones
- Flexibility with work schedule to engage with parents during early evening hours if requested
- Seeks and receives professional mentorship and feedback
- Superb time management and organizational skills, including multitasking and prioritization
- Able to empathize and communicate with caregivers with professionalism
- Proficient with using electronic data collection platforms, Google Workspace, and Upgrade to see actual info
