Smashed Avo is looking for a motivated WordPress/Shopify Developer that is up for becoming part of the team for long-term growth.

Monthly tasks include:

- Manage monthly software updates of client websites (WordPress + WooCommerce + Shopify).
- Manage monthly support requests from clients (through support ticket center).
- Develop WordPress themes for new client projects.
- Apply new plugin features to client websites (WordPress).
- Work to resolve issues related to WordPress websites and client hosting.
- Building websites from provided mock-ups and applying CSS/coding as needed.
- Assist in maintaining client’s website speed performance and security.

Qualities we are looking for:

- English fluency.
- At least 5+ years experience with WordPress, Figma, and Adobe Design programs.
- A free thinker, willing to look for answers.
- Confidence in coding HTML5, CSS3, PHP, and JavaScript.
- Fully understands responsive coding.
- A team player who is happy working in a small team of 5-10 people.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in cross-browser compliance issues.
- Experience in web hosting performance and security issues.
- Confidence in web design, responsive design, graphic design.
- Responsive: Quick with email and chat communication.

Preferred expert knowledge of:

- Top 50 WordPress plugins.
- Gutenberg, Bricks, and Kadence in WordPress.
- Elementor Framework.
- Genesis Framework.
- WooCommerce and Woo Framework.
- MySQL.

Special requirements:
