The Shared Services Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing shared services operations across multiple departments. This role involves managing a team of contractors and developing and implementing efficient processes, policies, and procedures aligned with global standards. The manager will foster effective stakeholder relationships and ensure contractor performance management, engagement, and skills development. This role bridges the gap between corporate directives and shared services execution and oversees policies related to time off, attendance, breaks, overtime, and communication protocols. Additional responsibilities include facilitating onboarding, developing remote work policies, managing supplier relationships, and promoting a cohesive team culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement processes, procedures, and policies aligned with global standards, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Manage stakeholders from various departments, establishing effective communication channels and fostering productive relationships.
- Implement performance management and engagement practices to optimize contractor performance and satisfaction.
- Provide training on system usage and ensure contractors are equipped with necessary skills.
- Act as a liaison between corporate directives and shared services operations, aligning performance goals with corporate objectives.
- Oversee policies related to paid time off, sick leave, time and attendance, lunch breaks, overtime, and communication protocols, ensuring adherence and consistency.
- Assist in onboarding new tea
- Develop policies for work-from-home equipment locally, ensuring adequate support for remote work arrangements.
- Manage relationships with suppliers as needed to support shared services operations.
- Coordinate the local team to promote a sense of unity and belonging within the company.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree on Business Administration or related
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in shared services management or related area.
- Minimum of four years of experience in leadership roles and experience in managing others remotely.
- Knowledge of local Filipino practices and regulations and desirable familiarity with global contractor management, including India.
- Experience in process mapping, productivity measures, and continuous improvement.
- Solid knowledge of HR practices and experience in the HR field is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Effective stakeholder management, having worked in matrix organizations across different countries.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and multitask effectively.
- Customer-centric mindset and capable of building trusted business partner relationships with other areas within the organization.
- Fluent English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
