Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Full Stack WordPress Developer who is comfortable working across both front-end and back-end development. You’ll be responsible for developing custom themes, plugins, and features, working with ACFs (Advanced Custom Fields) and specifically with Crocoblock, and building SEO-optimized websites that perform well across devices and search engines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
• Work extensively with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) and Custom Post Types
• Build responsive, mobile-friendly, and SEO-optimized websites
• Modify and extend existing themes and plugins as needed
• Integrate third-party APIs and tools
• Perform technical SEO improvements and site speed optimizations
• Troubleshoot and debug performance or compatibility issues
• Maintain clean documentation and use Git for version control
• Collaborate with designers, PMs, and QA to deliver high-quality work
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience with WordPress development
• Experience with WooCommerce
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery
• Strong experience with ACF and building SEO-friendly websites
• Experience with custom theme and plugin development
• Familiar with REST APIs and AJAX
• Experience with page builders like Elementor or WPBakery (optional but a plus)
• Solid understanding of performance optimization and SEO fundamentals
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Nice to Have:
• Figma-to-WordPress conversion
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Prior experience working with agencies
• Understanding of Core Web Vitals and Schema markup
