The Role:

As a Front-End WordPress Web Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating visually stunning and user-friendly websites that align with our client's needs and our agency’s standards. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement front-end user interfaces for WordPress websites while ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the design and development teams to create visually appealing websites that look great, function well, and are built with efficiency, speed, and scalability in mind.
Think strategically and develop design solutions that are flexible and scalable within a digital environment.
Design and implement front-end features for WordPress websites.
Customise themes and templates to meet project requirements.
Ensure all websites are responsive and mobile-friendly.
Optimise websites for performance, SEO, and user experience.
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues.
Work closely with the digital marketing team to implement designs that align with SEO and branding strategies.
The ability to work quickly, follow direction and adapt to pre-existing digital infrastructure and processes.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in WordPress front-end design & development.
Experience with WordPress page builders, including Elementor, Divi, and WPBakery, and the ability to adapt to unfamiliar page builders as needed.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experience with design software including the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe XD)
Experience with Figma or Sketch a bonus
Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first web development.
A solid understanding of SEO best practices.
Attention to detail and a passion for design and user experience.
Experience working with healthcare clients is a plus but not essential.
