Experienced M365 CANVAS Apps Developer

Hi,

I run a Perth-based IT consultancy, and we’re looking to bring a Mid/Senior-level developer into our growing Power Platform Development Team.

This role is ideal for someone who not only has strong technical skills, but also values the importance of user experience and intuitive interface design. We are building high-quality applications for market release, and UX/UI design is a critical part of our development process.

The successful applicant will have:
• 3+ years of experience with the Power Platform (Canvas Apps), Power BI, and Power Automate
• A proven track record in developing and architecting Canvas Apps with strong focus on usability and design consistency
• A user-centered approach to development, with a keen eye for interactive design and intuitive interfaces
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively as member of a team
• Excellent pral and written communication skills
• Experience in develop reports and dashboards using Quickcharts / PowerBI.
• Proven ability to build performant data models in SharePoint and Dataverse.


Ideally we are looking for full-time developers but will consider those who have at least 30 hours of availability per week and can work between 8am - 9pm Western Australian (Manilla) time. Hours can be worked flexibly within those timeframes.

The successful canddiate will have knowledge of:
• Deployment through Pipelines
• Use of Environment Variables
• Workflow automation via Power Automate
• Use of containers and layout controls for responsive and accessible UI design

Any experience of the following would also be advantageous but not essential
• Python
• API development
• JSON
• CSS
