Atlas Self Storage is hiring a full-time Business Development Associate to help scale our deal flow and build our acquisition team.

As the Business Development Associate you’ll help us get in touch with 300+ self-storage owners every week via outbound cold calls.

We are a young real estate company with an exciting year ahead. In this position, you’ll work closely with our Senior Acquisition Associate and be fully responsible for increasing the company's outbound efforts via cold calls to storage facility owners nationwide.

This is a full time, remote overseas position beginning ASAP.

Atlas Self Storage is a boutique real estate investment firm focused on acquiring value-add storage facilities in the sunbelt of the US, primarily in Texas.

We are a small team of entrepreneurs with backgrounds in both startups and real estate. Our founders have built and sold startups before, and are excited to grow Atlas Self Storage over the next decade into a high growth real estate investment firm. Job Overview:
Your main job will be to make 60 cold calls per day to storage owners throughout the country. We will provide you state-specific lists of storage facilities via our Hubspot CRM with the facility name, owner name and contact information.

Your job will be to get in contact with the owner of the property and following our scripts, get the information that we need in order to make the owner an offer to buy their property.

Who You Are:

You have excellent phone communication skills: You have sales and cold calling experience and are comfortable spending hours on the phone daily. You have experience navigating through managers and secretaries in order to get in direct contact with the owner. You speak perfect english with little to no accent.

You have great follow up skills. You are persistent at working a lead even after you’ve been rejected, sent to voicemail, or told to follow up in 6 months. You send follow up emails and texts and when an owner is interested in selling, you’re quick to follow up and get the information we need to get them an offer.

You are quick to respond internally – You answer Slack & Email notifications quickly and are extremely responsive once a task has been assigned to you. You lean towards over communicating when assigned a project to ensure the entire team has been given updates.

You have experience working in Real Estate acquisitions. Understanding how the commercial real estate space works is important to help Atlas follow industry best practices. Having 1-3 years of experience working within another real estate organization is preferred.

Your Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for all things day-to-day business development. If you made it this far you probably have an idea of what this means, but for us this includes:
Calling your lead list
Leaving detailed notes in the Hubspot CRM
Handing off a hot lead to the Senior Acquisition Associate
Leaving voicemails along with sending follow up emails and texts

2+ years experience in a real estate acquisition role
Exceptional English Proficiency (both written and oral)
Must be available to work 9AM-5PM Central Time
