Build the Core of a Global Hotel Intelligence Platform

We are building the next-generation hotel data analytics and guest feedback intelligence platform.

We are looking for a Backend Developer (Java / Spring Boot) who wants to build real systems — not maintain legacy code.

You will work closely with the founder, frontend developer, and data team to design and implement scalable APIs, data structures, and performance-driven backend architecture.

This is a product-building role, not a maintenance role.

What You Will Do

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs
(authentication, rate limiting, logging, structured error handling)

Design and optimize MySQL databases
(schema modeling, indexing strategy, transaction handling, slow query optimization)

Write clean, testable, maintainable code
(unit tests and integration tests expected)

Collaborate with frontend and data teams to deliver features milestone by milestone

Participate in code reviews and basic DevOps tasks
(Docker containerization, deployment scripts, system monitoring basics)

Requirements

2+ years of practical Java experience
(Strong fresh graduates with solid fundamentals are welcome)

Solid understanding of Spring / Spring Boot ecosystem

Experience integrating common tools such as:

Spring Security

Spring Data / JPA or MyBatis

Strong MySQL knowledge:

Schema design

Transactions and locking

Indexing and performance optimization

Clear understanding of RESTful API design:

HTTP standards

Status codes

Idempotency

Structured error codes

Swagger / OpenAPI documentation

Familiar with Git workflow and team collaboration
(branching strategy, pull requests, code review)

Basic knowledge of Docker and Linux is preferred

Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus

Bonus Points

Experience in SaaS or data analytics platforms

Experience in international / global-facing projects

Interest in system architecture and technical decision-making

Comfortable reading and writing in English
