AWS Engineer

Location: [Hybrid | Type: Full-time
We are seeking a skilled AWS Engineer to design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure,
and reliable cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will
collaborate with development, DevOps, and operations teams to support cloud-native
applications, automate infrastructure, optimize costs, and ensure high availability and
performance.
Key Responsibilities:
? Architect, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using core services such as EC2, S3,
VPC, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS/EKS, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
? Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with tools like AWS CloudFormation,
Terraform, or AWS CDK for consistent and repeatable deployments.
? Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application builds, testing, and
deployments.
? Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement logging, alerting, and
backup strategies to ensure reliability and compliance.
? Optimize cloud costs through resource right-sizing, reserved instances, and AWS cost
management tools.
? Enforce security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, network security, and
compliance standards.
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate workloads to AWS, containerize
applications, and support ongoing infrastructure improvements.
Required Qualifications:
? 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms and services.
? Strong proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, YAML).
? Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
? Experience with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent
experience).
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
? Experience with Git for version control and Git-based workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions or
GitLab CI).
? Proficiency in Rust for building high-performance backend services or tools.
? Familiarity with React for supporting full-stack or frontend-integrated cloud applications.
