Senior Backend Developer (In House)

Responsibilities:

1. Designing and implementing scalable and efficient server-side architectures for web applications.
2. Developing and maintaining backend systems, APIs, and databases.
3. Collaborating with frontend developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
4. Optimizing performance and scalability of backend systems.
5. Troubleshooting and debugging production issues and providing timely resolutions.
6. Conducting code reviews and providing mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
7. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to backend development.

Qualifications:

1. Extensive experience in backend development, preferably in multiple programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
2. Strong knowledge of databases, data modeling, and SQL.
3. Proficiency in working with APIs and integrating with third-party services.
4. Familiarity with cloud platforms and services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
5. Understanding of security principles and best practices in backend development.
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
8. Previous experience in a senior or lead role, including mentoring and guiding junior developers.
