Web Developer

Full-Time • Long-Term • Join Our Team!

We're looking for a rockstar Web Developer to join our team at one of the UK's fastest growing businesses!

You'll become our 'Number Two' guy or gal and work remotely with our in-house Senior Web Developer on a wide variety of tasks from coding new pages on our website to building internal systems from scratch.

You'll need to be a top-class coder (with speedy fingers to match!) and have experience in PHP, HTML and CSS.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Collaborating remotely with our talented team, and taking direction from our senior developer.
• Using your coding skills to implement new features, squash bugs, and keep our web pages in tip-top shape.
• Ensuring that our technical solutions, landing pages, and checkout process work seamlessly.
• Putting your expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including jQuery), and SQL to work on various tasks.
• Communicating effectively with the team to understand project requirements and provide updates.

The Winning Candidate Will Have:

• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including jQuery), and SQL.
• Experience with integrating third-party APIs, web security, and technical SEO.
• Knowledge of DNS configuration.
• Previous experience with WordPress.

And in an ideal world: (but not required!)

Familiarity with Twig templating, Infusionsoft and Chargebee (those are the key systems we use)
Knowledge of Slack for team communication.
Proficiency in Git for version control.

Most of us work in our office in Birmingham, UK - but a select few (including you!) work remotely from home so you'll need a string internet connection.

The position is a 'proper job' - it's long-term, full-time, and because we're based in the UK, your work hours can be flexed a little (we know there's a big time difference!).

This is a brilliant job for someone who actually gives a damn – a great opportunity to make a real impact and contribute to something bigger than yourself. There's also significant opportunity for you to grow and develop your skills.

We pay full-time salary but only work Monday to Thursday - which means we don't work Fridays!
(we also dish out pretty chunky Christmas bonuses too!)

If successful, you'll become the Number 2 player in our Web Development team and become the 34th member of our team overall.
