Australian Tax Accountant

About the role
We are seeking an experienced accountant who has worked at least 5 years with an Australian accounting firm to work. Your role will include:
• Preparation of Business Activity Statements
• Preparation of Financial Statements
• Preparation of tax returns
• Reconciling asset registers
• Implementing software for asset registers and hire purchases
Skills and Qualifications
• Qualified accountant or at least 5 years experience as a tax accountant with an Australian accounting firm
• 5+ years preparing financial statements in Xero
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organisational skills
• Proven ability to multitask and meet critical deadlines
• Eye for detail and reliability
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team
• Energetic and positive
