Cloud Services Engineer - TSP

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Services Engineer to join our dynamic team at our Technology Service Provider (TSP) organization. As a Cloud Services Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions for our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud services that meet our clients' business requirements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the success of our clients' cloud initiatives.

Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement cloud-based architectures and solutions, leveraging leading cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
2. Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and develop cloud strategies tailored to their specific needs.
3. Deploy and configure cloud infrastructure components, including virtual machines, containers, storage, networking, and security services.
4. Optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, utilizing appropriate cloud services and resource management techniques.
5. Develop automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code templates to streamline cloud deployment and management processes.
6. Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments, implementing robust access controls, encryption mechanisms, and monitoring systems.
7. Monitor cloud services and proactively identify and resolve performance issues, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints.
8. Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate cloud services into continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team to foster continuous learning.
10. Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams during cloud migrations, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
2. Proven experience as a Cloud Services Engineer or in a similar role, designing and implementing cloud solutions in production environments.
3. Strong proficiency in at least one major cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and its core services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
4. Solid understanding of cloud architectural principles, design patterns, and best practices for scalability, reliability, and availability.
5. Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools and technologies (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
6. Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures.
7. Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.
8. MSP (Managed Service Provider) experience is a plus, including exposure to managing multiple clients and environments simultaneously.
9. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
10. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
11. Proactive mindset, with a passion for staying updated on emerging cloud technologies and driving innovation.
