ILLUSTRATOR / GRAPHIC DESIGNER for Shirt Designs

***NOTE: Shirt design experience not required, but good illustration skills are. Please read entire job post and follow instructions below to apply.

I’m looking for an excellent Illustrator / Graphic Designer who can create original custom drawn artwork (with specific specs), and also recreate and improve on examples of artwork that I give to you. The designs will be used on shirts, mugs, tote bags, etc., in PNG and SVG formats. For the right candidate, this could be a long term, full time position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent English - both written and spoken
A university degree or other extensive training in design
A minimum of 1 year full time Illustration and Graphic Design experience
Expertise in Photoshop and Illustrator, or Procreate
Canva expertise is a plus, but not mandatory
Extensive typography and font expertise
Fast typist (in English), as much of our communication will be through email
Some experience using Google Docs and Sheets


TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

MUST have an updated reliable computer / laptop that can handle long hours of design, using different programs at the same time, while also downloading and uploading images, without overheating or freezing.
Reliable and consistent high-speed internet connection (at least 20mbps) with backup connections - as we upload files to the cloud consistently. Updated Photoshop and Illustrator (or Procreate) software.

Take direction well, without taking it Upgrade to see actual info’s never personal. This is about making designs that work for our business model. Thus, I may often be asking you to make changes in the work.
This is a highly collaborative position. We need someone who is both great at working independently and is self driven, and also enjoys collaboration
Strong organizational skills
A passion to design and a great desire to keep learning and growing


SALARY & SCHEDULE

$2.50 - 3.25 /hr. - Starting rate will depend on your experience

Work time in U.S. hours at the beginning.
