SEO/SEM Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a full-time SEO/SEM specialist to join our virtual team at TMG. As an Industrial Marketing agency for contract manufacturers and packagers in the Food/CPG industry, we need someone who can optimize our client websites, social media properties, and related activities.

Successful candidates will possess a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of an integrated team of online marketing professionals. Our clients are large, successful companies, and they demand quality work. We are looking for a person with the following abilities to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement SEO and SEM strategies to achieve maximum results in organic search campaigns
Analyze website and PPC campaign analytics and report on trends and insights
Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
Conduct ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
Research and analyze competitor advertising links
Develop and implement link building strategy
Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and programming
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.


Requirements:
At least 2 years of SEO experience with a company or with a Digital Marketing Agency
Proven experience in SEO and SEM management with demonstrable results
Strong understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
Proficiency in website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, Rank Math
Experience with A/B testing and experiments
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development
Understanding of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM

Salary Range: $1,400/Mo USD (negotiable based on skillset and experience)
