Video Editing Specialist

JOB TITLE: Video Editing Specialist
DEPARTMENT: Production

Primary Objective: The video editing specialist would be able to download unedited video footage, review, grade and cut footage. They would then prep usable footage for the senior editor. They would have strong proficiency with video & audio editing software. We are currently using Premiere Pro and would require pro-expert level skill as well as a fast and reliable internet connection as there will be footage downloading.

Pay Rate: $3 USD per hour
Hours: Flexible
Training Hours: Can be discussed -- will be paid.
**Please note that while this position is currently Freelance, this will be available as a full time contractor position within a few months.

Responsibilities:
-Download, Prep and Cut client and internal footage
-Review client footage to pull selects
-Input stock audio, sound design, and effects where necessary
-Actively work on learning new editing techniques and technologies to improve post-production success
-Communicate with Directors and clients to update all revisions
-Organize footage within Cloud services
-Understanding production timelines to meet deadlines in an accurate and timely manner.

Qualifications:
-Pro to Expert experience with Adobe Premiere Pro
-Beginner to Expert experience with Adobe After Effects
-Acute attention to detail and organization
