Quantity Surveyor

The main purpose of this role is to prepare accurate, detailed lists and Bill of Materials (known as BOM’s) in our system using our standard products and materials for confirmed customer projects. You will also assist the sales team by performing quantity surveying and pricing custom jobs that are different to our usual standard build plans.
You will also be responsible for keeping all item pricing in our system up to date and current, along with the continuous improvement of BOM and Job item quantities. This is done by editing quantities and items in the system “Master BOM Templates” when our production staff advise of shortfalls / oversupply of items on our builds to increase BOM accuracy on future builds. Master BOM Templates will be also continually improved by carefully and accurately surveying quantities in BOM’s for new standard plans as they are released to market. Any shifts in pricing to our standard plans should be presented regularly to our marketing and sales ---------- addition to the above you will be assisting the sales team by preparing initial concept pricing and BOM’s for non-standard builds, letters of offer, documents, construction contract documents and presenting them to the sales team in a timely manner where they will peer review and present to the client.
Once a construction contract is signed by the client and salesperson, you will work with the salesperson and architect to prepare the final detailed specification and documentation ready for the salesperson to hand over to the Production Team.

We are only accepting applications from applicants that:
- Show their DISC Profiling
- Show their IQ scoring
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in quantity surveying construction of residential homes in either New Zealand, Australia, Japan, USA or Canada. Evidence of prior work must be submitted with your application.
- Have a recognised Quantity Surveying qualification.
