JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Payroll Officer to work alongside our Payroll Manager to process our fortnightly and monthly payroll.
The Payroll Officer is responsible for 500+ employees. Accurately administering end to end payroll in a timely and confidential manner.
The Successful applicant will need to have proven experience in:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in processing fortnightly and monthly pays for Australia and New Zealand
• Calculating and processing terminations & leave management systems
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• High attention to detail, accuracy and time management skills
• Good knowledge of AU/NZ employment legislation including experience in award interpretation
• Assist with superannuation, workers compensation premiums, payroll tax and authorised payroll deductions
• Ability to work closely and build strong relationships with managers
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Retail experience would be advantageous.
