Senior SEO and Link Building Specialist

Work Timezone: 8 am - 5 pm (EST) or 8 pm - 5 am (PHL)
Hours: 30 hours per week

A full-service digital marketing agency is looking for a full-time Senior SEO and Link Building Specialist with over 6 years of experience in on-page and off-page SEO working with multiple clients and accounts. This is a stable company that has been around for 12 years and we are looking for a stable staff member on a full-time basis.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform SEO website audit on multiple sites, create a strategy and specific tasks off your findings and recommendations. Report via professional PowerPoint presentation.
2. Assign SEO tasks in our Active Collab project management system to keep track of each task and completion
3. Onsite Optimization related to page titles, URLs, redirects, internal link structures, SEO Copy Editing, sitemaps review/maintenance
4. Keyword research to identify and discover new targeting keywords and explore content strategy
5. Monitor, track, and analyze ranking performance on an ongoing basis, and optimize SEO campaigns as necessary
6. Update internal weekly SEO KPI reports across all our 20+ website properties.
7. Develop SEO monthly reports using Agency Analytics, Ahref, and SemRush.
8. Contribute to developing the link-building strategy to improve our SEO and search engine ranking on multiple website properties
9. Identify and acquire backlink opportunities to increase website traffic

11. Contact bloggers to interest them in providing link exchanges
12. Find new link opportunities by using the latest search techniques and conducting a competitor backlink analysis
13. Work with freelance content writers in providing content as part of our link-building strategy (local or regional)
14. Fix local citation issues and bad backlinks

Qualifications

1. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 6 years experience in SEO from on-page and off-page optimization.
2. Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
3. Experience with working with multiple clients at once and client-facing
4. Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbally
