Online Copy Editor / Writer For An Environmental Website

Hello! We're an online blog focused on environmental issues looking for a superstar copy editor (words, not video!).

We’re looking for someone who really understands what makes for amazing and best of the best online writing. Someone who understands how to edit content to ensure it meets user intent, delivers value, and stands out from the crowd.

Primary requirements:

* Excellent verbal and written English (US)
* A natural wordsmith. You’ll know what makes for an excellent read and be really good at ensuring your output is best in class
* Editor experience, working with existing content/writing to ensure it's polished, factually and grammatically correct, and delivers a superb online read.
* Love nothing more than to spend your days finessing content to make it amazing
* Organized, precise, hard-working, and independent
* Able to 100% commit to a full time role and work with minimal supervision

NB: This is not a generic VA role, we are specifically looking for a content editor and someone with content editing skills and experience.

Nice to haves:

* An interest in environmental issues such as biodiversity, climate change, and so on
* Examples of written online content
* Knowledge of SEO and structuring content to perform well in organic search

Important criteria:

We're only looking for people with:

* A good college / university degree with good grades
* Good laptop / desktop with at least 8GB ram
* Good reliable internet of at least 5MPBS
* Space to work and focus (away from shared areas)
