Home-based position, working with teams in Philippines, UK, Europe and Australia/New Zealand

An international, forward-thinking digital healthcare information company is looking for a Manila-based Investment Analyst Research Assistant to work on a new financial information project.

The successful applicant will support a small team of professional business journalists and business development executives.

The new project will focus on the analysis of information around a specific group of companies operating in emerging industry sectors.

Duties will include:

* Due diligence on companies and industries via research, financial statements and market data
* Analysis of financial information (company results, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements, etc) relating to specific companies
* Staying on top of market developments, new investment products and other areas that can affect markets
* Monitoring financial news using specialist media sources
* Drafting and writing research reports
* Making recommendations to in-house and third-party investors

You will be expected to demonstrate:

* An ability to research, analyse and evaluate financial information from multiple sources
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong numerical skills and computer literacy
* Proven Microsoft Office (or similar) experience
* A clear ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and multi-task in a remote working team
* An interest in current affairs and an understanding of their impact on the markets

You will be expected to use a broad range of financial information platforms and will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement before commencing work on this project.
