JOB OVERVIEW

Our modern church in Southern California is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant/Admin Support to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and communication skills, be able to multitask effectively, and have a passion for working with a diverse community. This is a remote position, and the candidate must be available to work 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
Data entry: Maintain and update church databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all information.
1st time and 2nd time guest follow-up: Assist in the process of welcoming guests and ensuring they have an exceptional experience. Follow up with guests to obtain feedback and provide support to increase engagement and attendance.
Social media management and content creation: Manage our social media accounts, create and curate content, and engage with our followers to build our online presence and increase engagement.
Website management: Maintain and update our website, ensuring that it is up-to-date, informative, and visually appealing.
Volunteer coordination support: Assist with volunteer coordination, including communication, scheduling, and Upgrade to see actual infourch communication: Assist with communication efforts, including email newsletters, event announcements, and other church-related communication.
Graphic design: Assist in creating visual materials for social media, website, and other church-related materials.

Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in administrative support or a related field.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience with data entry and database management.
Proficient in social media management and content creation.
Proficient in website management.
Familiarity with graphic design software.
Experience in the church or nonprofit sector is a plus.
