SEO Analyst

Buy it Direct Group is looking for a talented SEO Analyst to join our team, we’re looking for someone that understands the value & benefits of SEO and has experience in improving the performance of ecommerce websites.

You will drive SEO performance across multiple websites in the tech, home, furniture & outdoor niches. You will work closely with several teams such as Traders, Product Setup, CRO & Web Developers. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic & challenging environment & develop your skills in SEO.

We have an established SEO team that you will be able to slot straight into where you can learn, grow, and develop with a bunch of likeminded individuals.

More About The Role
- Perform on-page & off-page optimization across multiple websites.
- Develop & implement SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings & overall online visibility.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, gap analysis & provide keyword recommendations.
- Use tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Data Studios, Ahrefs, & other SEO tools to track performance & identify areas for improvement.
- Carry out competitor analysis & provide actionable insights.
- Optimise categories from attributes, web titles, faceted navigation, internal linking and more, on-site optimisation is key in this role.
- Run regular crawls, fix on-site errors, keep up to date with SEO housekeeping and improve technical SEO.
- Help others in the business understand the importance of SEO by guiding & teaching best practices within SEO.
- Keep up to date with SEO changes & industry news.

- Proven work experience in SEO, an added benefit would be a focus on retail/e-commerce SEO.
- Excellent communication skills used to influence & collaborate with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytics & reporting skills using Google Sheets & Excel
- Strong technical SEO knowledge
