Full Stack Web Developer with AI Experience (OpenAI API)

Xpress Design + Drafting is seeking a highly-skilled Full Stack Web Developer with AI experience to join our team and assist with the creation of various business applications, specifically tailored to our architectural design and drafting services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in web development and a proven track record of integrating AI technologies, particularly with the OpenAI API.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain a variety of business applications focused on architectural design and drafting.
- Implement AI solutions, such as Workflow process bots, knowledge base language model bots, and floor plan generators using OpenAI API and large datasets of pre-encoded floor plans.
- Collaborate with our team to identify business needs and translate them into innovative, user-friendly applications.
- Ensure seamless integration of new applications with our existing software systems and infrastructure.
- Test, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance, usability, and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web development and AI integration.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on AI integration.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
- Demonstrable experience working with OpenAI API and other AI/ML technologies.
- Expertise in back-end programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or Java.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with architectural design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Archicad, SketchUp) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements.
- Excellent English communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
