Debt Chasing / Credit Control

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Debt Chaser / Credit Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our clients debtors and ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices. The role requires a high level of customer service skills, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Contacting customers to collect outstanding debts
Managing and maintaining customer accounts
Negotiating payment terms and schedules with customers
Updating customer records and account information
Escalating issues to management when necessary
Developing and implementing effective credit control policies and procedures
Maintaining accurate records of all debt collection activities
Monitoring and reporting on the company's debtors' aging
Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in debt chasing or credit control
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation skills
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of credit management best practices and legislation
Attention to detail and accuracy.
A team player with a positive attitude
